The ADHD Trainer – Complaints Policy

The ADHD Trainer – Complaints Policy

At The ADHD Trainer, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and effective support. If you feel our services have fallen short of your expectations, we want to hear from you so we can address your concerns promptly and fairly.

Our Complaints Policy

A formal complaint may involve:

  • Dissatisfaction with the delivery or handling of a coaching, training, or support session.

  • Concerns regarding communication or client care.

  • Any allegation of discrimination, bias, or unfair treatment.

(Note: Minor everyday queries or scheduling issues should be directed to your coach or trainer directly. Minor matters, such as a delayed email response or missed phone call, are generally resolved informally rather than through this formal process.)

We promise to:

  1. Record: Ensure every submitted complaint is formally logged and reviewed.

  2. Respond: Address every complaint thoroughly, appropriately, and respectfully.

  3. Improve: Identify the root cause of any issue and adjust our processes to prevent it from happening again.

Our Complaints Process

  1. Submission:

To help us log and investigate your concerns accurately, please complete the online form below (or write to us at our registered address).

   2. Acknowledgement:

We will contact you within 15 working days of receiving your submission to confirm that your complaint has been received and is being reviewed.

   3. Investigation:

We will look into the matter thoroughly, reviewing relevant notes, communication, or process details to understand what happened and how to resolve it.

   4. Resolution:

Once our investigation is complete, we will contact you via email or phone with our findings and any actions taken to address the issue.

Notice & Scope of Practice

This course provides clinical knowledge, skills, and frameworks for ADHD assessment, but does not confer formal certification to become an ADHD Assessor. Currently, there is no recognised accrediting body for ADHD assessors in the UK or internationally. Practitioners are responsible for working within their professional scope of practice, guidelines, and supervisory frameworks to ensure readiness for safe, independent practice.

This course covers the clinical application of common tools (DIVA, Conners), but does not cover test administration (e.g., DIVA-5 or Young DIVA). Designed for UK practice, this course aligns with UK regulatory frameworks (NHS, NICE guidelines, Mental Capacity Act, and Equality Act 2010). International participants must ensure compliance with their local legal, copyright, and clinical practice regulations.
